Contacts are open while the switch is hanging down and will close on a rising liquid level. This product can be used for a variety of applications, including but not limited to, septic tanks, sump pits, water tanks, pump chambers, and any other empty or high liquid level alarm applications. These float switches are wide angle, mechanically operated, and the contacts are opened \/ closed by a ball inside the float housing. All switches are supplied with a 120VAC piggyback plug in several cable lengths. Suitable for applications up to 1\/2 HP with fluid temperatures up to 140° F (60°C).
